Founder / Lead Bookkeeper
After leaving the corporate world in 2011, Stephanie started Steadfast based on a passion to help small business owners. Having grown up in a family of entrepreneurs and also running a couple of small businesses herself, she realized that “bookkeeper” is just one of the many roles that a business owner takes on after starting a business. From sales to product development to social media manager to oh so many other things – there are a lot of roles that the business owner usually fills but are not always fun to do. Bookkeeping specifically can sometimes be confusing, time consuming and tends to make it’s way to the bottom of the to-do list over and over again which ultimately just becomes frustrating. Stephanie believes there is a solution to all of this madness and that’s where Steadfast comes in.
Stephanie started her career in Finance in 2004 when she became a Project Accountant at a large engineering firm. This is where her love and passion for numbers really developed. Combine her education with the experience she gained working there as well as a couple of other smaller companies over the next few years and you’ve got a passionate number nerd with over 12 years of experience in corporate and small business finance. Since 2011, she’s been working with small businesses to completely take bookkeeping off their plates, educate them about the importance of small business bookkeeping and ultimately provide peace of mind that everything is taken care of.
When she’s not crunching numbers, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, relaxing with a good book on the beach and serving at her local church.
Jessica joined Steadfast in January 2016. She brings over 10 years of experience in bookkeeping having received an accounting degree just after high school and immediately pursuing a career in bookkeeping. She has worked with a wide variety of business types and is experienced in both Quickbooks Online and Xero. She excels in problem solving and loves to crunch numbers. Reconciling an account at the end of the month brings a smile to her face. She supports our clients at Steadfast by taking bookkeeping off their hands completely, enabling them to focus on other priorities in their business. Jessica enjoys spending her free time with her husband and 3 year old son and also calls Florida home.
Noel joined Steadfast in February 2017. She has over 5 years of experience in accounting, specifically small business services and tax. She received her bachelors degree in Biology with a Chemistry minor. Shortly after graduation, she returned to school and received her Accounting degree as well as an MBA. What Noel loved most about accounting in school was the ability to use logic and rules to solve problems. What she loves most about accounting in the small business community is being able to be a part of the process that allows a company to grow and succeed. She has a husband in banking, and a 2 year old and 6 month in everything!! They enjoy spending time together outdoors at the park or at the beach.
Sarah joined Steadfast in February 2017. She started her first bookkeeping job while in college and realized it was the perfect fit for her love of computing numbers. She has a background in small business bookkeeping and loves numbers, reconciling, and organizing. Having grown up in a family that owned a small business, Sarah realizes how much small business owners have on their plate. Her focus at Steadfast is to alleviate the burden of bookkeeping for our clients so they can focus their time and energy on other aspects of their business. Sarah enjoys spending her free time working on their southwest Missouri home, volunteering at her children’s school and church activities, and being outdoors with her husband and three boys.
